EXECUTIVE GOLF COURSE

Executive Golf Course is a beautiful par 3 golf course that is open to the public and is in downtown Rapid City. Executive Golf Course is owned and operated by the City Of Rapid City It consists of 7 par 3’s and 2 par 4’s with a total par of 29. Length from the blue tees is 1,323 and 1,093 from the red.

The golf course is located west of I-90 and Memorial Park, with direct access off of Omaha Street and Founders Park Drive. Rapid Creek flows through the middle of the course with plenty of cottonwood trees to provide ample shade.

Wyss Associates, Inc was retained in 2023 by the City of Rapid City Parks Department to re-design the irrigation system for the course. Construction began in September 2024 and will be completed in the Spring of 2025. Project includes HDPE piping (from pump to swing arm), a new pumping system with new irrigation central control system. Designed with state of the art decoder in the head as well as valve in head sprinkler bodies, the communication system utilizes 2-wire decoders for ease of expansion and communication to central control. Concrete cart paths were incorporated into the project to minimize impact on the heavy traffic areas and to control cart path traffic.
