Wyss Associates, Inc. completed a preservation master plan for the historic City Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. This cemetery was established for the City of Nashville in 1822 due to increasing population pressure of the rapidly developing city. The cemetery grew over the years to encompass nearly 30 acres and contain approximately 23,000 interments. The preservation master plan for the Nashville City Cemetery includes:
