Custer State Park Bike Trail
Initially, Wyss Associates, Inc. prepared a long term master plan to interconnect the State Game Lodge Campground with the Coolidge Campground with a paved bicycle trail. Subsequently we prepared a detailed design for the two phases of construction. The trail is located primarily over previously disturbed grounds resulting in a very low impact trail.
The completion of this trail achieves a long term goal for the park linking two resorts, two campgrounds, the visitor center and park headquarters with a paved bike/pedestrian trail. Wyss Associates, Inc. worked closely with park officials in the establishment of this popular recreation amenity.
