Patrick is the President and Principal-in-charge of Wyss Associates, Inc. and is responsible for the operations of the firm. Mr. Wyss has a diverse 29-year background in landscape architecture, golf course architecture, land planning and urban design. Pat is an award-winning landscape architect and golf course architect with a strong design background emphasizing site appropriate and environmentally sensitive design solutions. Pat is CLARB certified and registered in eight states across the United States. Pat is actively involved in the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) where he has served as the national Vice-President and was elected Fellow in 1993. Pat is active in his community; he was previously on the Board of Directors for the Journey Museum, was Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves on the Rapid City Planning and Zoning Commission.
Matt is the Senior Landscape Architect at Wyss Associates, Inc., he joined Wyss Associates in the Fall of 2006. Matt has developed strong technical abilities, a specialty in trail projects, sensitivity to cultural projects and an overriding interest in sustainable high quality design. Matt holds a Masters Degree of Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota and is a registered landscape architect in South Dakota and Wyoming as well as CLARB Certified. In addition to his skills as a designer and project manager, Matt is active in multiple civic and volunteer efforts in his hometown of Custer, SD and other Black Hills Communities.
Mark Jobman joined Wyss Associates, Inc. in the spring of 2010 as a Junior Landscape Architect. He is originally from Hill City and attended South Dakota State University earning a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture with a minor in business. He is an active member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and serves on the executive committee for the Great Plains Chapter. Mark has a diverse background in landscape architecture and design including streetscapes, public plazas, trail systems, and master planning. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family, being outdoors, and skiing.
